Buena vas mejorando!

ElMarianz responds:

Gracias amigo! Me alegro de oír eso :D

Sounds empty, there's not a lot going on throught the song

Skiddle responds:

This was kind of rushed, sorry about that ;n;

Nice work! sounds a little too distorted tho, it's too compressed, it's not good to put a limiter on the master and crank it up to whatever just to make it louder, everything gets squashed, maybe use maximus and master it well, and you could work on the mix a lot more, eq and change some things to stereo and some to mono, pan stuff, make it all sound nice and crisp, also i don't know if you have a sub, i hear kinda like a sub phasing or just getting louder and then quiet, sounds weak, you should change it to mono so it's at the middle, if you do have a sub, if not add one, sub always has to be in mono, and you could fill it a lot more, put more sounds, in the build up and the drop, the build up sounds kinda empty, it's just an uplifter, a riser, the snare and the arp, better to work it in parts, add more effects, impacts, uplifters, risers, crashes, reverse crashes, percussion, more snares, claps, hats, i think of the build up like something that brings back memories of the drop, but you can see it however you want, if you want you can think of it just like something that builds up energy for the drop but i like to see it think of it like something that brings back memories of the drop, so you have to have things from the drop at the build up, but you don't have a lot of things on the drop either, so you could add the drop chords to the build up and use a filter that goes from low pass to high pass, if you had growls at the drop and something more like virtual riot it would be a lot better, if the drop is better the build up is better too, because you could add those growls to the build up with filters or effects like a massive reverb or stuff, the most important thing to build up energy is filters, low pass and high pass filters, play with them, in a way that at the end of the build up all the sub and bass are removed leaving only the high pass and a little bit of mid, i always like to do the build ups leaving just high pass at the end of the build up, that way the drop hits a lot harder when it comes with the sub, bass and everything, you could add delay and reverb in the build up to to give it even more energy but that's a bit more harder, but it sounds way better tho, you should check the filters for now, overall good track, nice melody, composition and good ambience, i liked the other chords more than the drop chords, which are way too diostorted, and i really liked the downlifter you did with a growl lol, very original, i might try it once

ElMarianz responds:

Thank you! Many things that you say are new to me like panning. I never use it and I could use it. Thanks for the review

Sick dude!

GobSmacked responds:

thanks, haha!

Another great song from the legendary Mysterious Presence, i like the sample from the tv i used in dream lol

MysteriousPresence responds:

Thanks friend ! Yeah it helped me a lot ! ;)

I love it! in some parts it sounds like Ronin by Stabby, you have to show me how to do dubstep again i forgot haha

ElMarianz responds:

en parte la cancion usa presets mios y loops de una libreria porque no me anda el serum y en massive no me salen muy bien los bajos en el minuto 2:36 en esa primera parte del segundo drop use bajos caseros mios como veras no son buenos como los de la libreria jaja.

Shit i dont know how you did this but you really got better

ElMarianz responds:

haha thanks bro :P

Very good! I really like the acid stuff, I dont like certain parts like the electric guitar or like around 2:34 were you leave the acid lead playing at a lower volume in the backround while the pads/bells are playing, those sounds dont fit together, like many others in this song, feels like a lot of samples put and layered together, you can hear it in some drum parts, theres a lot of drums playing at once, the drums feel kind of double in parts, and the drums are not consistent, in some parts they are louder and in some lower, and i would suggest working on your transitions, because the whole song feels in parts, like parts of songs put together kind of, it goes from one thing to another drastically, what i would do is add effects like impacts, uplifters, downlifters, risers, white noise, to make the transitions smoother and more obvious, because you always have to make the transitions obvious, make it feel like somethings coming next and the song is progressing, not just staying there or drastically changing like i said, another thing you should work on is the song structure, first is the intro, then the break, thats were less instruments are playing and then starts the build up and next the drop, or you can ignore the break and go directly to the drop, listen to more songs and see the parts and song structure they have, but i see what you are doing, its a Geometry Dash song, theres many changes inside the levels so you made it thinking on that, which is not bad but i would add effects too smooth the transitions still, and the last thing i would say you should work on is your mixing, the sounds volume, eq and all that.
It doesnt sound bad at all, but its a big mash of ideas that need to be organized, but i see potential :)

Thx for commenting! I appreciate it, And I'll Keep this in mind while working on my next song. I completely agree with you, on most of your topics. I actually like the electric guitar, but it's your opinion. I wanted to keep the lead at lower volume during he pads because I didn't want it to feel like another song, I wanted listeners to kind of "remember" the theme of the song, which is an epic, tech feel, that makes you imagine giant Mecha suits and laser guns. But I see what you mean. Maybe I should've made it using a quieter, More of a passive instrument. But whatever. And the transitions: I completely understand. When I made this I was having trouble mastering that area. I'm good now, though. I will notify you when my next song comes out! :)

Hey great track dude ;)
